Ravenshaw University, New Mahanadi Campus, Cuttack, Orrisa

Ravenshaw University is one of the oldest institution of higher education in the state of Odisha. It was founded in 1868.

The New Mahanadi Campus is one of our recently completed project, which has been inaugurated today. The inspiration for the new campus is derived and designed by keeping in mind the original context and planning of the old institution to reflect its authenticity. The sense of entry has also been reflected by implementing the idea of seven pillars of wisdom. The forced perspective of seven pillars of wisdom has been reflected in an exaggerated way to create a nostalgia of the past. The Clusters of four departments are organized around a large central courtyard which houses an Amphitheatre and also acts as a space for informal interactions among the students. Further, each department has a separate entrance from the peripheral road.
