 The Corporate Office Building for Garden Reach Shipbuilders and Engineers Ltd.
The project has been executed by NBCC (India) Ltd. and inaugurated December last year by the Secretary (Defence Production), Ministry of Defence, Govt. of India. We feel proud to have been associated with such a prestigious project.
The building employs neat geometry and a contemporary material palette. The building form is basically three cuboids aligned diagonally to the cardinal directions to achieve the best energy performance. The building is designed with full wall energy efficient glass on the north and south facades to gain glare free natural daylight, and solid cladded walls on east and west facades to block the heat gain.
